Job Title: Service Deli Assistant

Join Costco Wholesale, a leading international retailer, as a Service Deli Assistant in our Melbourne store. As a key member of our deli team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of food products, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to members, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Food Preparation: Slice meats and cheeses, assemble party trays, meals, pizzas, and salads, and skewer and cook chickens and ribs in a commercial rotisserie oven.
  • Inventory Management: Count product on hand, figure production needs, and document production on daily forms.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean equipment, wash and sanitize parts, and perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Availability: Must be available to work a rotating schedule, including early mornings and evening shifts.
  • Teamwork: Assist other areas in the department as necessary and work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals.
