We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deli Assistant to join our team at Costco Epping. As a key member of our Service Deli team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and packaging rotisserie chickens and other rotisserie items to meet the high standards of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Skewer chickens and prepare them for roasting, load skews into the rotisserie oven, and package cooked chickens for display.
- Stock Management: Rotate and stock boxes of chickens and other rotisserie items in the cooler, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Quality Control: Monitor finished merchandise to ensure consistency and quality standards are met, and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
- Sanitation and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize equipment, wash and sanitize parts, and perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to members, employees, and suppliers, and assist other areas of the warehouse as needed.
- Education: High School Certificate or higher
- Experience: Must have kitchen experience and be available to work rotating PM roster and weekends
- Skills: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
