Job Title

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Medical Laboratory Technician to work with our team. You will be working in the food industry, located in Murarrie.

Shift Information

Available day and night shifts.

Pay Rate

$31 - $37 per hour.

The Role
  1. Perform routine quality assurance tasks as outlined in the Quality Policies Manual, procedures, and work instructions.
  2. Liaise with other departments to ensure continual improvement of products and quality systems.
  3. Assist in shelf life testing and monitor raw materials and intermediates.
  4. Assist with the release of raw materials if required.
  5. Collect and retain retention and shelf life samples following laboratory practices.
  6. Arrange the pre-delivery of finished goods to selected customers.
  7. Maintain laboratory cleanliness and equipment.
  8. Perform daily calibration of equipment before testing.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Food Science or relevant laboratory/industry experience.
  • Experience in food testing within a food laboratory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • ERP experience, preferably in SAP.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and handle multiple tasks with accuracy.
