Scientific Laboratory Professional

We are currently seeking a skilled Laboratory Professional to join our team.
About the RoleThis position involves performing diagnostic testing, specimen storage and retrieval, equipment maintenance, and record-keeping. The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to work accurately and efficiently, and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnostics: Perform manual and automated tests to identify and diagnose medical conditions
- Specimen Management: Store and retrieve specimens as required for testing and analysis
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure laboratory equipment is in good working order, properly calibrated and maintained
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of test results, specimens, and other relevant data
- Qualifications: Diploma of Laboratory Technology, Associate Degree or equivalent
- Experience: Previous laboratory experience in diagnostic testing is desirable
- Skillset: Strong time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Awareness: Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety procedures and quality assurance processes
