About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned retail professional with strong leadership skills to spearhead our paint operations. As an Executive Retail Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence in our Port Melbourne store.

Main Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth through effective sales management, customer engagement, and merchandising initiatives.
  • Lead a high-performing team of retail professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement measures to optimize inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual displays to enhance customer experience.
  • Maintain strong relationships with trade and retail customers, driving sales growth and service excellence.
  • Manage store budget effectively, controlling expenses and ensuring efficient use of resources.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in retail management, preferably in a paint or coatings industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Basic understanding of financial acumen, including P&L management, inventory control, and expense management.
  • Valid driver's license and physical ability to perform manual tasks.
