This is an opportunity to provide expertise and advice for our Professional Standards Department in a part-time capacity, with options for working from home or in a hybrid arrangement based in Blackburn.
About the Role- Provide authoritative guidance on ethics and integrity issues affecting our workforce and operations.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures related to ethics and integrity at our organisation.
- Benchmark our Integrity Framework to ensure we implement leading practice ethical and integrity standards.
- Monitor legislative requirements relating to ethical and integrity issues and undertake continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and processes.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to managers to build their understanding of ethical and integrity obligations and principles.
- Demonstrated experience in public policy, law, ethics, or risk and compliance is desirable.
- Proven ability to provide professional and authoritative advice on ethical integrity issues.
- A sound understanding of the Victoria integrity system, including legislation, policies, processes, corporate governance, and ethics.
- Experience in developing and implementing governance, ethics, and integrity-related policies, strategies, and standards.
- Advanced analytical and critical writing skills, with the capacity to identify strategic and systemic issues.
- Ability to manage highly sensitive and complex matters.
