Ethics Advisory Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to work in the Children's Bioethics Centre department as a Professional Ethics Advisor. The role involves providing clinical ethics advice to clinicians and building capacity in ethics through education and research.
- Participate in clinical ethics case consultations, including contributing to discussion and writing reports.
- Provide support to staff in various ways, including ethics debriefs, rounds, and individual consults.
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be involved in delivering clinical ethics education to RCH staff and professional networks at local and state levels. This includes chairing/co-chairing discussions and taking notes.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and postgraduate bioethics and/or clinical ethics training. They should also have proven leadership skills and experience working in a team environment.
