This role acts as a bridge between business units and delivery teams, translating strategic objectives into actionable requirements and supporting benefits realization throughout the project lifecycle. The specialist is responsible for capturing and analyzing business needs, identifying solutions, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage proactively with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable documentation including requirements traceability matrices, process maps, use cases, user stories, and detailed specifications.
- Partner with project managers and business teams to scan for, select, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions to validate requirements and explore solution options.
- Partner with project managers and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions align with project goals and broader organizational strategy.
- Conduct current state assessments and contribute to the design of future state processes, systems, and capabilities.
- Support the development of business cases, including cost-benefit analyses, feasibility assessments, and recommendations.
- Maintain and enhance business analysis PMO documentation, templates, and governance frameworks to support consistent project execution.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- 5 years of experience in business development or a related field.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Competent understanding of the Australian health and/or aged care systems.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence (desirable).
- Relevant aged care sector knowledge.
