Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team in Marsden. The successful candidate will have TIG welding experience and be proficient in reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacturing industrial and commercial stainless machinery
  • TIG welding and fabrication - Light to Medium gauge stainless
  • Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and plans
  • Marking, cutting and assembling food grade machinery and equipment
  • Inspect parts for defects and deviations to ensure they meet standards
  • Maintaining a safe and friendly working environment
  • Adhering to all safety protocols while operating equipment, wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting any safety hazards
Requirements:
  • Previous history as a Sheet Metal Tradesman or Welder/Fabricator with TIG Light to medium gauge experience, preferably within a similar manufacturing environment
  • Able to read and fabricate confidently based off a range of drawings
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with commitment to workplace safety
Estimated Salary: $45-$50 per hour + Penalties and Overtime

This is a full-time casual position, working Monday to Friday from 6:30AM to 2:30PM with overtime available starting at 5am. If you're looking for a stable and ongoing position with opportunities for upskilling, apply now
