Job Overview:
As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet by coordinating with various stakeholders to organize and prioritize maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate closely with Fleet Specialists and Component Shops to guarantee timely availability of required parts and inspections.
- Develop Standard Parts Lists for routine tasks and maintenance procedures, fostering efficiency and compliance.
- Procure parts from stores in relation to fleet planning, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruptions.
- Provide regular fleet reports and maintenance schedules to the Maintenance Controller, supporting informed decision-making.
- Monitor AC Components to ensure optimal availability and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Prioritize and schedule work orders to minimize production downtime while maximizing equipment uptime.
- Co-ordinate available personnel with tools and spare parts to facilitate efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
- Analyze maintenance trends and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize maintenance strategies.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license applicable for use in the work location.
- Able to obtain and maintain an aviation security clearance.
- Aviation Maintenance Knowledge: Strong understanding of helicopter maintenance practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with scheduled maintenance programs, inspections, and airworthiness directives.
- Technical Background: Previous experience as an aircraft or helicopter technician or engineer.
- Planning and Scheduling: Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within an aviation or similar technical environment.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul software.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with aviation maintenance regulations and documentation standards.
