Remote Community Development Specialist

As a Case Officer, you will play a vital role in strengthening communities and improving wellbeing by providing tenancy advice, case management and education. You will conduct home assessments and develop care plans tailored to families.
The RoleThis community-based placement requires living and working within a remote Aboriginal community. You will support public housing tenants and build strong relationships with residents, community members and stakeholders.
- Provide tenancy advice, case management and education to residents
- Conduct home assessments and develop care plans tailored to families
- Support clients with rental deductions, arrears management and property maintenance reporting
- Build strong relationships with residents, community members and stakeholders
You will require professional case management skills combined with cultural sensitivity and hands-on support.
About YouWe are seeking a candidate who possesses the following skills and qualities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and willingness to work closely with Aboriginal communities
- Ability to manage multiple systems and maintain accurate records
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Current C or C-A class driver's licence
- Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and Apple products
