Remote Community Placement Officer

This is a placement requiring you to live and work within a remote Aboriginal community.

We support communities across Western Australia, delivering essential programs and services designed to strengthen communities, improve wellbeing, and provide opportunities for people to thrive on country.

About the Role
  • Provide tenancy advice, case management, and education to residents
  • Conduct home assessments and develop care plans tailored to families
  • Support clients with rental deductions, arrears management, and property maintenance reporting
  • Build strong relationships with residents, community members, and stakeholders
  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives and program development
  • Monitor and report on case progress against program KPIs to ensure the highest level of service is maintained
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and willingness to work closely with Aboriginal communities
  • Ability to manage multiple systems and maintain accurate records
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Current C or C-A class driver's licence
  • Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and Apple products
