Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinician to join our Clinical Services team. As a Senior Clinician, you will be responsible for driving the therapeutic clinical services model across all relevant services in the region. You will also manage a small team of Behaviour Support Practitioners and provide reflective practice to Case Workers and Carers.

The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing CareSouth's trauma-informed Therapeutic Care Model, providing therapeutic intervention/support to young people, and managing a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners. You will work closely with other departments to ensure a high standard of care is delivered to clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing or other relevant clinical field.
  • Current registration with AHPRA where required or eligibility for registration with the relevant state body.
  • Significant experience working with trauma-informed models, mental health, disabilities, child protection and similar relevant service sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in a clinical leadership capacity.
  • Highly developed communication skills.
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
