Job Title: Principal Project Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of traffic engineering and parking solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with expertise in infrastructure design, stakeholder management, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the planning, scoping, resourcing, and stakeholder consultation for traffic engineering and parking projects;
  • Ensure timely completion within agreed timeframes, quality standards, and budget;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet customer needs and exceed expectations;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and internal teams;
  • Analyze data and provide high-level specialist advice to support project development and delivery.
About You:
  • You have expertise and experience in traffic engineering, parking management, and infrastructure design;
  • You possess excellent project management skills, including stakeholder management, risk management, and communication;
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions;
  • You are passionate about delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations;
  • You are a team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., civil engineering, transportation management);
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, preferably in the traffic engineering or parking management sector;
  • Strong understanding of financial management, governance, and risk management principles;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner;
  • A current NSW driver's license.
