Lead Traffic Engineer

This role is responsible for overseeing the development and management of traffic engineering standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in traffic engineering, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.

About This Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled traffic engineer to lead our team in developing and implementing contemporary traffic engineering standards. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our standards remain efficient and aligned with best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage traffic engineering standards, policies, and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and industry partners to assess and improve existing technical standards.
  • Foster a learning environment and promote technical capability within our organisation.

What We're Looking For:

Able to prioritise competing demands, develop technical policies and guidelines, and deliver high-quality technical documentation in a fast-paced environment. Experience working across engineering, policy, or infrastructure sectors, analysing complex problems and providing expert advice to stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate:

Has a deep understanding of traffic engineering principles and can apply this knowledge to develop and implement effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
