Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and a minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse or supply chain operations within an IT environment, inventory management, retail, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to work shifts, including non-standard hours such as evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Background Check Requirements
Candidates must meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements. This includes:
- Passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years thereafter.
- Verification of Australian Citizenship to comply with federal government security requirements.
- Potential for enhanced background checks through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse or supply chain operations within an IT environment, logistics, or operating heavy-load movement equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) for a large organization, or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume operations or critical situations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process defective vendor hardware, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Utilize process knowledge and sound judgment to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within various inventory management systems.
- Ensure thorough physical inventory tracking and staging.
- Assist in reconciling and reporting inventory discrepancies.
- Carry out the destruction of data-bearing devices in accordance with SLAs and Microsoft policies.
- Notify management of stock shortages and escalate issues as necessary.
- Adhere to security and data management policies.
