APS4 Administration and Policy Officer

A key role within a central agency is available for an APS4 Complaints Officer.
This Australian Government Department plays a significant part in developing faster running program support and development to facilitate liaison between the department and the government.
In your new team as an APS4 Compliance Officer, you will have the opportunity to provide high-level administrative support and make decisions based on policies and legislation.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Elevating information and cases for remediation
- Assessing and organising participants and determining non-compliance and reasonableness of claims
- Working alongside other staff to make decisions
- Analysing provider data to assess payments
- Verifying people's information and data over the telephone
- Assessing and examining documents and providing responses to legislation and policy
- Reviewing data and identifying inconsistencies
To be successful, you will require experience in a similar role within the Australian Public Service, with a strong track record in administration support, data analysis and attention to detail. Liaising with multiple departments to achieve business outcomes is also essential.
Security requirements: You must be an Australian citizen and possess or be willing to obtain and maintain a Baseline Personnel Security Clearance.
You will be part of a blended workforce where you can further develop your skills in legislation, procedures, policies and information management.
