Senior Case Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Case Manager to join our team at Gallagher. As a Senior Case Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and processing workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement of medical expenses, and providing exceptional customer service to injured workers and employers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and process claims for injured workers, including reviewing and approving requests for medical treatment and ensuring accurate documentation is received for weekly wage payments.
- Utilize claims management systems and databases to record and review claims information, ensuring privacy and accuracy of information.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, treating healthcare providers, and occupational rehabilitation services, to facilitate a sustainable return to work and life for injured workers.
- Participate in case conferences and implement strategies for effective cost management on claims.
- Previous experience in a customer service-based role, preferably in fields related to employment services, rehabilitation, mental health, social work, or health and safety.
- Tertiary study in allied health, psychology, social work, or a related field (desirable).
- Strong telephone-based communication skills, administrative skills, and ability to learn and use systems and databases.
- Resilience, exceptional time management and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
