We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Case Manager to join our team at Gallagher. Key Responsibilities- Manage and process claims for injured workers, including reviewing and approving requests for medical treatment and ensuring accurate documentation is received for weekly wage payments.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and treating healthcare providers to support the claims process.
- Utilize claims management systems and databases to record and review claims information, ensuring privacy and accuracy of information.
- Participate in Case Conferences and implement strategies for effective cost management on claims.
- Previous working experience in a customer service-based role, especially in fields/roles specialising in employment services, rehabilitation, mental health, social work, or health & safety.
- Tertiary study within the disciplines of Psychology, social work, or similar (beneficial, not essential).
- Strong telephone-based conversational/communication skills, administrative skills, and ability to learn and use systems/databases.
- Resilience, exceptional time management and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a team-player attitude.
