About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Case Manager to join our team at Gallagher. As a Senior Case Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and processing claims for injured workers, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement of medical expenses and facilitating a sustainable return to work and life for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and process claims for injured workers, including reviewing and approving requests for medical treatment and ensuring accurate documentation is received for weekly wage payments.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and treating healthcare providers to support the claims process.
  • Utilize claims management systems and databases to record and review claims information, ensuring privacy and accuracy of information.
  • Participate in Case Conferences and implement strategies for effective cost management on claims.
Requirements
  • Previous working experience in a customer service-based role, especially in fields/roles specialising in employment services, rehabilitation, mental health, social work, or health & safety.
  • Tertiary study within the disciplines of Psychology, social work, or similar (beneficial, not essential).
  • Strong telephone-based conversational/communication skills, administrative skills, and ability to learn and use systems/databases.
  • Resilience, exceptional time management and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a team-player attitude.
