Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and process claims for injured workers, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement of medical expenses.
  • Review and approve requests for medical treatment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and healthcare providers, to facilitate a smooth claims process.
  • Utilize claims management systems and databases to record and review claims information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Participate in case conferences and implement strategies for effective cost management on claims.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service-based role, preferably in employment services, rehabilitation, mental health, social work, or health and safety.
  • Tertiary study in a relevant field, such as psychology or social work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
