Senior Case Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Case Manager to join our team at GB Global. As a Senior Case Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and processing claims for injured workers, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement of medical expenses and facilitating a smooth return to work process.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and process claims for injured workers, including reviewing and approving requests for medical treatment and ensuring accurate documentation is received for weekly wage payments.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and treating healthcare providers, to support the claims process and facilitate a sustainable return to work.
- Utilize claims management systems and databases to record and review claims information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in case conferences and implement strategies for effective cost management on claims.
- Previous experience in a customer service-based role, preferably in fields related to employment services, rehabilitation, mental health, or social work.
- Tertiary study in a relevant field, such as psychology or social work, is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
