Job Title: National Health, Safety and Wellbeing Professional

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on support to ensure our safety systems are robust, future-ready and aligned with our values. We believe in being advocates for Inclusion and Diversity, allowing our team to bring their whole selves to work and better represent our customers and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive National Health, Safety and Wellbeing strategy with a strong focus on compliance, mental health and continuous improvement.
  • Guide teams across Australia with consideration to an international landscape, supporting our leaders and shaping a culture of care and accountability.
  • Embed legislative frameworks such as Respect@Work into our National Health, Safety and Wellbeing strategy to proactively manage psychosocial risks.
  • Direct the rollout of a compliant National Health, Safety and Wellbeing Management System and support our team in the ongoing development, implementation and management of innovative National Health, Safety and Wellbeing programs.
Requirements:
  • Degree or higher qualification in WHS / OHS, or extensive experience in WHS roles.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice and psychosocial hazard management.
  • Experience guiding safety functions and supporting operational teams, with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, skilled in approaching problems with curiosity and adaptability in changing environments.
