Mental Health Recovery Champion

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our headspace Early Psychosis team as a Youth Peer Support Worker.
As a Youth Peer Worker, you will draw from your own lived experience of mental health challenges to act as a recovery champion within the headspace Youth Program team and across our services.
Your Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one support to young people in need
- Work collaboratively with clinical teams to deliver effective support
- Contribute to the development of our service design and delivery through sharing insights from your lived experience
- Lived experience of mental health challenges as a young person (12-25 years)
- Recognition and understanding of your own personal recovery process (including tools and strategies)
- Confidence to advocate for yourself and young people in a clinical environment
- Australian working rights
- Full Covid-19 vaccination
- Current Victorian Driver License
- Working with Children Check or willing to obtain one
- A supportive multi-disciplinary team environment
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
