As a Strategic Engineering Director for Maritime Operations, you will oversee the strategic direction of engineering services across our Defence Maritime and Training Systems portfolio. This role involves providing technical oversight, improving performance, compliance, and availability of critical Defence systems, while ensuring alignment with the Navy Technical Regulatory Framework.

  • Manage configuration, obsolescence, and maintenance systems">
  • Conduct technical analysis and risk assessments for engineering decisions">
  • Support engineering investigations and change management with OEMs">
  • Mentor technical teams and review engineering artefacts and task completion">

To succeed in this role, you will require:

Skills and Qualifications

  • ">
  • Over 5 years of maintenance management experience in a naval defence setting">
  • Strong knowledge of naval engineering and Defence sustainment practices">
  • Proficiency in interpreting and acting on complex technical data">
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills">
  • Familiarity with the Royal Australian Navy Technical Regulatory Framework">
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Visio and Project">
  • Australian Citizen to achieve and maintain a Defence security clearance of NV1">
