Job Overview

The Ports and Maritime Projects Director role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and excellence in marine infrastructure projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver large-scale, technically complex structural engineering projects for ports and marine infrastructure with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide strategic technical direction and leadership across project lifecycles mentoring engineers at all levels to support capability development and succession planning.
  • Ensure rigorous compliance with local and international maritime codes and standards while proactively managing risk and safety considerations.
  • Build and sustain strong client and stakeholder relationships collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated high-impact engineering solutions.
  • Champion innovation in structural design drive continuous improvement in quality assurance processes and represent the organization as a thought leader through industry publications conference presentations and professional forums.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in structural engineering with recent experience in ports and marine projects.
  • Recognized qualification Associate Diploma Bachelor of Engineering Technology or Similar.
  • Proven project management and design experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
  • Track record of technical expertise delivering Ports and Marine projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices particularly in marine environments.
