This hands-on, office and factory-based role involves collaborating with a team of engineers, technicians, and suppliers to deliver custom-built machinery that meets client expectations.

The opportunity includes working on bespoke, cutting-edge projects across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, chemicals, personal care, household products, and wine.

Key responsibilities include leading the design and development of mechanical systems, collaborating with customers, managing projects, and working closely with internal and external teams.

  • Design and develop bespoke mechanical systems ensuring functionality, reliability, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with customers to create tailored design concepts.
  • Manage projects across the full lifecycle, including design, manufacture, testing, and delivery.
About You / Qualifications
  • Degree qualification in mechanical engineering or mechatronics is required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in special purpose machinery design and manufacture is necessary.
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM Vault, and Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic and motion control systems is beneficial.
