Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer, located in Sydney, NSW. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems for our labelling products. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed design specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting simulations, and providing technical support. The role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to engineering excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems for labelling products
  • Create detailed design specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Conduct simulations and analyses as part of the design process
  • Provide technical support to ensure engineering excellence and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • Mechanical Design, CAD, and 3D Modeling skills
  • Experience or knowledge of FEA, prototyping, and product testing
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in the labelling or packaging industry is a plus
