Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate movement of goods: Plan and organize the transportation of grain, seed, and meal from origin to destination.
  • Manage customer relationships: Build strong relationships with customers, freight providers, farmers, and grain storage sites.
  • Negotiate freight rates: Analyze market trends and negotiate freight rates, sales, and load order coordination.
Requirements
  • Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Commerce.
  • Problem-solving skills: Proven ability to identify and act decisively to solve problems.
  • Computer skills: Computer savvy with a high level of skill with Excel and ability to pick up different systems.
  • Communication skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
