Job Title: Field Operations Supervisor

Our organization is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the implementation of plans and programs within our forest and fire operations department.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in operational forest management, emergency response, and staff management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading day-to-day operations and managing staff engaged in forest and fire activities.
  • Developing and implementing effective deployment strategies for workcentre staff.
  • Maintaining safe work practices and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing works programs in planned burning, unsealed road management, or other operational forest management activities.
  • Expertise in forest firefighting techniques, Australian Interagency Incident Management System, and emergency response activities.
  • A current manual driver's license (conditions A, I, and V not acceptable).
