**Job Title:** Procurement Professional

This role involves delivering sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring the effective management of supply chains. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting category strategy to achieve business objectives.
  • Developing and implementing procurement plans based on customer needs.
  • Managing low to medium complexity procurement projects for continuous improvement.
  • Creating request for proposal documentation and maintaining supplier knowledge databases.
  • Monitoring benefits and supporting negotiations for best value.
  • Implementing contracts with performance incentives and managing supplier performance.
  • Identifying and resolving performance issues with suppliers.
  • Supporting contingency planning and occasional travel may be required.

**About You:**

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant qualification or certification in procurement or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement within a large, complex organization.
  • Tender development and evaluation experience.
  • Knowledge and practical experience in working with commercial and contract negotiations, contract and supplier management.
  • Supplier engagement experience.
  • Contemporary procurement and category management practices, relevant regulations, and ability to deliver best-value quality customer services.
  • e-Procurement and contract management systems experience.
  • Proven IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong customer service skills with ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven analytical skills, including ability to analyze and interpret information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively to influence positive connections with all suppliers, customers, and stakeholders.
