The Procurement Lead role is pivotal in enabling the efficient and effective operation of our organization.
This involves delivering hands-on procurement services while spearheading strategic sourcing initiatives and overseeing a small team.
The position oversees two direct reports and provides contractor management oversight, ensuring all activities align with our Procurement and Contractor Management Frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering day-to-day procurement functions, including sourcing activities, quotations, tendering, evaluation, purchase order creation, and contract administration.
- Responding to internal procurement requests and ensuring timely and compliant procurement support for business units.
- Maintaining procurement documentation and systems in accordance with audit and reporting requirements.
- Spearheading high-value and complex procurement projects aligned to organisational priorities and strategic objectives.
- Developing procurement plans, tender documentation, and evaluation strategies.
- Negotiating commercial terms and finalising supplier contracts in collaboration with legal and business stakeholders.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the procurement policy, tools, and templates.
- Providing oversight of contractor onboarding, engagement, and performance monitoring, ensuring alignment with the Contractor Management Framework.
