Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Italian Chef to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations.

About You:

  • You have 2–4 years' experience as a senior chef or similar role with a strong passion for Italian cuisine.
  • You possess qualifications in Commercial Cookery/Culinary Arts from a registered training provider.
  • You have previous experience in Italian or Mediterranean cuisine, which is highly regarded.
  • You excel in communication and teamwork, with a collaborative approach to achieving goals.
  • You demonstrate attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills.
  • You maintain high standards of grooming, hygiene, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a section of chefs to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency during prep and service.
  • Support the Head Chef in menu planning, specials, and food styling, contributing creative ideas.
  • Uphold food safety and hygiene standards through accurate record keeping.
  • Train, mentor, and support junior chefs to help them grow and succeed.
  • Foster a positive team-oriented kitchen culture built on respect, passion, and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and bring new ideas to keep the menu exciting and relevant.

Requirements:
