We are currently working on 15 projects, with more scheduled for next year, positioning us for steady growth.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team. This key role will oversee the front-end design and delivery phases of projects, collaborating closely with Project Managers to ensure smooth project delivery.

You will be responsible for leading site-based teams, ensuring time, cost, and quality objectives are met. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and resolving buildability issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design meetings with internal stakeholders
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and resolving buildability issues
  • Coordinate with team members to resolve design-related challenges
  • Produce reports for senior management
  • Assist project management teams in securing necessary approvals to begin construction

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • Proven experience in high-rise residential or boutique apartment sectors with reputable builders
  • Strong understanding of buildability and budget management within tier-one or two markets
  • Experience navigating approvals processes with relevant authorities

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including $150k - $200k + superannuation, as well as permanent full-time employment. Two locations are available: Castle Hill and Pots Point.
