About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Design Manager to join our client's team and lead the design and delivery phases of high-end projects. With a strong focus on collaboration and project management, you will bridge the tender/EOI phase with project delivery, ensuring seamless handovers between teams.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will oversee the design and delivery of luxury hotel/apartment developments for a prestigious developer. You will be responsible for ensuring time, cost, and quality objectives are met, with a focus on resolving buildability issues and securing necessary approvals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design meetings with internal stakeholders
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering
  • Coordinate with team members to resolve design-related challenges
  • Produce reports for senior management
  • Assist project management teams in securing necessary approvals

Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • Proven experience in high-rise residential or boutique apartment sectors with reputable builders
  • Strong understanding of buildability and budget management within tier-one or two markets
  • Experience navigating approvals processes with relevant authorities
