About this role

As a seasoned sustainability leader, you will spearhead Mirvac's environmental initiatives, providing strategic direction and guidance to colleagues. Your expertise in nature-based solutions, carbon offsets, and circularity will drive excellence in our sustainability performance.

  • Create and implement a comprehensive approach to nature, encompassing commercially-aligned measures to protect and enhance natural assets.
  • Develop and maintain systems to ensure preparedness for evolving nature requirements, incorporating governance, performance, and product considerations.
  • Cultivate internal collaboration, fostering a common understanding of the importance of nature within Mirvac's wider sustainability framework.
  • Build a reputation as a trusted advisor, engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver value-driven outcomes.
  • Drive external engagement, representing Mirvac at industry forums, and contributing to policy discussions through informed positions.

Your skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • A strong background in property and/or sustainability sectors, preferably with experience in an ASX listed company.
  • Proven ability to engage internally, delivering on stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, with a focus on embedded responses to nature, offsets, and circularity.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • A deep understanding of industry-leading practices and trends in sustainability.
