Job Opportunity: Senior Sustainability Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned Sustainability Professional to spearhead the development and implementation of our sustainability strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in translating global sustainability ambitions into local action, with expertise in sustainable finance, client transition, partnerships, knowledge programs, and integrating sustainability into credit assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and execute sustainability projects, pilots, training, and other initiatives to drive business growth and minimize environmental impact.
  • Lead the Modern Slavery working group, collaborating with stakeholders in the UK and the Netherlands to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Draft the Modern Slavery statement and engage stakeholders to ensure timely submission.
  • Implement and oversee the delivery of the Modern Slavery action plan, driving project success through effective management and communication.
  • Develop project plans and provide project management for key sustainability initiatives, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Oversee administrative functions, providing support to the team as needed.
  • Contribute to Country x Sector Plan reporting requirements and related projects, analyzing data and providing actionable insights.
  • Support communications and engagement activities across the business, promoting sustainability awareness and best practices.
  • Coordinate policy review processes with local stakeholders and subject-matter experts, engaging with global partners to drive sustainability excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or tertiary qualifications in environmental science, agricultural science, sustainability, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in the finance sector, with a strong understanding of ESG policies and regulations.
  • Proven expertise in sustainability analysis and reporting, with experience in developing sustainability strategies and plans.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and data analysis, with project and workflow management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
