Senior Planning Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Planning Specialist to join our National Planning Business Unit in Sydney. This role will involve working on renewable energy and sustainable planning projects, leveraging your technical expertise and proven skills to provide innovative advice and insights to clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Town Planning or Environmental Science, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to influence outcomes through proactive, informed, and decisive communication.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing advisory services on renewable energy development, due diligence, and planning approval processes. You will also prepare planning applications and post-approval activities, including environmental impact statements and management strategies for energy projects.

You will work closely with directors and contribute to business growth, participating in industry events and working groups. You will also have opportunities to develop client relationships by building trust, providing quality advice, and managing expectations.
