Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced support worker to provide daily living assistance in a person's home and accompany them on social outings in the local community.

The ideal candidate will be able to connect and engage well with the individual, their family, and other important people in their life.

They'll need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to advocate for people living with disability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist a person with daily living activities in their home and participate in social outings
  • Build relationships with the individual, their family, and others who are significant to them
  • Advocate for people living with disability
  • Provide tailored support that meets the individual's unique needs
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to advocate for people living with disability
  • Reliable and proactive approach to safety and well-being
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and other relevant checks
