Homeless Support Professional

This role involves working with individuals who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. As a key member of the team, you will provide support and assistance to help clients achieve stability and security in their lives.

  • Coordinate timetables and appointment management for on-site clinical activities, including doctors, psychologists, dieticians, nursing staff, and specialist clinics.
  • Liaise with the pharmacy to ensure timely provision of medications and supporting items as ordered through the clinics.
  • Ensure facilities are booked, available, and prepared for all clinical activities to minimize delays or disruptions.
  • Provide relief case management and support in the intake, assessment, and 21-day case worker roles as needed.
  • Develop professional relationships with clients, employees, and other stakeholders, using appropriate terminology and creating a safe and comfortable environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Certificate IV in Community Services.
  • Previous experience in Homelessness or Human Services.
  • Previous experience in Medical Support or Medical Administration would be highly regarded but is not essential.
  • A current First Aid Certificate (with current CPR).
  • A current WA Drivers license.
  • A willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
