Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Apprenticeship Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to become a qualified heavy vehicle mechanic. As a heavy vehicle mechanic apprentice, you will work in a small friendly team and have the chance to work on a variety of equipment including push lawn mowers, construction equipment, Caterpillar equipment, backhoes, dozers, earthmoving equipment, loaders, excavators, skid steers, compactors, graders, scrapers, tractors, and crawler machines.

Job Description

As a heavy vehicle mechanic apprentice, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Grease and oil changes
  • Spark plug fitting
  • Transmission servicing

You will also have the opportunity to work on a range of brands including Takeuchi, Fiori, Toro, New Holland, and Terex.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A genuine interest in the trade
  • A driver's license (preferred)
  • A White Card before commencement
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency with full working rights
What We Offer

We provide a great learning environment, good working hours, and the opportunity to work on a variety of equipment. Overtime is offered on Saturdays, but not compulsory.
