Care Support Professional

Australian Unity is seeking a Care Support Professional to deliver in-home support services to our aged care customers in Northern Sydney.
About the RoleThis role involves helping customers with daily tasks, transportation, and personal care. The successful candidate will be able to build relationships with customers and their families, conduct client observations, and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance with cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and other daily tasks
- Assist customers with transportation and appointments
- Conduct client observations and provide ongoing support and training
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies
- Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle
- Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
- Willingness to travel across all suburbs that the branch services
- All Australian Unity Employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID19 with a minimum of 2 doses
- Proficiency in an additional language such as Mandarin/ Vietnamese/ Spanish/ Arabic/ Lebanese/ Greek is valued but not mandatory
- Permanent Part-time or Casual contracts available
- Earn from $29.06 to $32.56 per hour based on experience plus 11.5% super
- Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM PLUS paid travel time
- Stable roster & opportunity to work extra hours based on business needs
- Smartphone and Uniform provided
- Fully supported and paid Induction program
- Traineeship Opportunity - Become Cert III qualified in Individual Support (Aged Care) - all fees paid (for eligible employees)
