Job Title: Therapeutic Activities Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to coordinate therapeutic activities that improve and maintain the quality of life for our residents.

  • Develop and implement social and recreational programs to engage residents and promote their overall well-being.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with residents, understanding their interests and abilities to tailor activities that cater to their needs.
  • Monitor and record resident responses, adjusting programs as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing assessment and evaluation of program effectiveness.
  • Providing transportation and support for residents on approved outings.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate in leisure and health services, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in diversional therapy, preferably with leadership or coordination responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of person-centered care principles and residential-based service delivery.
