Reliability Expert Lead

Our organisation is a leading retail, industrial and energy business seeking a reliability expert lead to coordinate engineering support for frontline staff. The role ensures the development of major equipment overhaul scopes and tracks the effectiveness of tactical strategies.

This position involves:

  • Developing and implementing asset management programs to ensure the reliability of rotating and other mechanically driven equipment and electrical assets.
  • Delivering technical support, including vendor liaison, to minimise the impact of equipment downtime.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to provide engineering support and mitigate risks to the delivery of our plans.
  • Investigating asset-related failures and sharing learnings to improve reliability.

**Key Qualifications:**

  • Subject matter expertise in instrument and electrical assets, particularly their maintenance, troubleshooting and reliability.
  • Effective leadership skills, possessing excellent communication and coordination abilities to lead, coach and mentor teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a heavy production or manufacturing environment.
  • Hold detailed experience with electrical equipment in hazardous areas.
  • Distributed control systems experience is desirable.
