Finance and Administration Officer

About the RoleAs the Finance and Administration Officer, you will provide administrative and bookkeeping support for day-to-day finance management and project support. Your role will include a wide range of duties from general administrative tasks to supporting a change of accounting software and social media management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial project support
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Support with finance software migration
- Support with preparations of BAS, financial reporting, and reconciliations for multiple entities
- Assist with social media management
- Cover administration team leave requirements taking on higher duties at times
- Recent success in a finance officer or similar role
- Understanding of double entry accounting
- Strong attention to detail, ability to recommend solutions
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software, MYOB or Xero beneficial
- Resilient, flexible, and with good communication techniques, including a sense of humor
- Not-for-profit sector experience helpful
