Production Operations Manager Opportunity

About the Role

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Production Operations Manager to lead our production team in Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily production activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks within set deadlines.
  • Monitor and analyze production performance, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Lead the team, promoting a safe working environment and upholding established policies and procedures.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, collaborating with site technicians to enhance production efficiency.
  • Enforce standard operating procedures, including Health & Safety and Quality Control standards.
  • Ensure efficient inventory management, equipment maintenance, and labor allocation aligns with business objectives.
  • Participate in quality investigations, manage staff leave, and commit to achieving SQPD performance targets.
  • Achieve daily productivity targets, collaborating with customer service to ensure prompt deliveries.
  • Set clear goals, manage recruitment and performance, and foster teamwork while embodying key company values.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and experience leading production teams.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills, and experience with SharePoint.
  • Sound financial acumen and attention-to-detail.
  • Initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and leads by example with strategic thinking and a positive attitude.
