Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Conservation Ranger in our National Park. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, surrounded by natural beauty and cultural significance.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement operational plans to ensure the effective management of our park's resources.
  • Maintain and operate equipment, as well as control pest plants and animals to preserve the park's ecosystem.
  • Undertake compliance activities and manage small projects to achieve park objectives.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to field-based staff, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Contribute to emergency response efforts as required, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements

  • No specific qualifications are necessary, but relevant experience in conservation and land management will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Practical skills in asset maintenance and operation, including small power equipment and tools.
  • Showcase your law enforcement and compliance abilities as part of park management.
