Job Title: Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to fill the role of Maintenance Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing corrective and planned maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment and facilities.
  • Conduct inspections and record-keeping to meet statutory and internal reporting requirements.
  • Log and complete jobs through client systems in a timely manner.
  • Carry out asset inspections according to defined preventative maintenance programs or inspection schedules.
  • Participate in on-the-job and off-the-job training sessions as directed.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment by reporting any hazards or incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with site management, contractors, and airport stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills with both verbal and written abilities.
  • At least 2 years of experience in maintenance (preferably in a precinct or retail environment).
  • Trade background or proven handyman skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Strong awareness of Work Health & Safety principles.
  • High level of personal integrity and professional grooming standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Able to obtain an ASIC Aviation Security ID card.
