**Facilities Maintenance Technician Role**

Clean and maintain facilities and buildings to high standards ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all.

The Position

This position is based on Bribie Island and involves working Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 2.30pm with flexibility to complete shifts at any time within this window.

Availability to work additional hours to cover sick leave and annual leave is also required.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintaining facilities and buildings in a clean and hygienic condition.
  • Wiping, scrubbing and/or disinfecting surfaces such as sinks, countertops, toilets etc.
  • Utilising a range of materials and equipment to clean a variety of surfaces including floors.
  • Removing waste and distributing toilet/bathroom supplies and/or cleaning materials in buildings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Experience in a similar cleaning or facilities maintenance role.
  • Able to work 2 hours per day between Monday and Friday, 6.30am to 2.30pm.
  • Availability to work additional hours to cover sick leave and annual leave.
  • Able to attend work on Bribie Island each business day.
  • A Blue Card and National Police Clearance are also required as part of the application process.
  • Ability to undergo a Functional medical check-up and drug and alcohol test.
