Biomedical Engineering Trainee Technical Officer

Job Summary:
The SA Health Biomedical Engineering Trainee Technical Officer will be responsible for undertaking on-the-job training in preventative and remedial maintenance for biomedical devices and systems, under the guidance of more experienced Biomedical Engineers and Biomedical Engineering Technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of biomedical devices and systems
- Participate in on-call roster and overtime as required
- May be required to travel intrastate, interstate or overseas for training or to conduct work at other SA BME sites, client sites or related industry sites
- May be required to work at a higher classification level for short periods to cover for absent employees of SA BME
Requirements:
- A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical discipline
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
