About the Role



This is a unique opportunity to join the dynamic team at CAHLN BME as a Biomedical Technology Specialist, where your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of biomedical technology across South Australia's public hospitals and healthcare facilities.



As a Technical/Professional Officer, you will engage in preventative and remedial maintenance of vital biomedical devices and systems, working closely under the guidance of seasoned professionals. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining the functionality and compliance of current and emerging technologies that directly impact patient care and monitoring.



Salary & Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $68,478 - $83,594 per annum, plus superannuation and salary packaging. In addition to the competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including annual leave with loading, flexible work arrangements, employee assistance program, and convenient paid car parking facilities.



Job Description


  • Preventative and remedial maintenance of biomedical devices and systems;
  • Collaboration with experienced professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of biomedical technology;
  • Application of established procedures and discipline standards to support the operations of our unit;
  • Exercise of professional judgement in providing services across a diverse range of biomedical technologies.
